I can post back more details about post pad adjustment on a later occasion when I have more time (out the door to work right now), although I wouldn't jump straight to that solution until we've found the actual cause of your issue. If the toolbar is level when the post is plumb, then the pads are set correctly.

If your post is not plumb when your tongue is level, then the problem is there. Possible causes are a loose bearing cap at the bottom, broken bolts in the bottom post bearing casting, or that casting could be cracked itself.


If the post stands vertical when the tongue is uphill, how then does it stand when rotated in for transport? If you are having to run the tongue uphill to get the post plumb due to a bent post, then it will lean to the left when rotated for transport. If when rotated, it still stands plumb, then the problem will be below the post.
