I also agree, but I've had a couple of dogs that loved guns but always sunk to a quivering ball of fear at the sound of thunder. If it's a young dog, you can teach them the difference pretty easily. It's natural (and smart) for a dog to hide from thunder.
The only trouble is, once the dog figures out the neighbor is shooting, he may not want to stay home :)
My dog is scared of thunder and guns. Any help?
