Had a female black lab that could care less about thunder, until there was a lightning strike in the back yard. After that, the slightest rumble and she was a nervous/ anxious wreck.
I don't have any experience with them, but you could take a look at getting a Thundershirt for him.
My dog is scared of thunder and guns. Any help?
