Woodstock,New Brunswick.Canada | I just went thru this last week with a new computer for my wife's book keeping business.I had originally wanted to get another one with Windows 7 like I have on my computer,but we went to Staples and spent some time trying new ones with 8.1.My wife felt she would be fine with it,she did not like the new style touch screen types.After using it some I find it good,when you use it in what they call desktop mode it looks just like Win 7 and it is very fast( of course anything is faster than XP) and good to use.I would say if your computer has the specs to upgrade to Win 8.1 go for it because like my wife said how long before they stop support for Win 7 ? |
