Dennis, it looks like one of the guys here put a battery in it while I was gone and had it backwards. The groundstrap was hooked to the - post.
She's been sitting for a couple of years but popped right off when we pulled it. I pulled the decompressor lever, we went about 10 feet, and it fired.
We just got the electric starter back after it stayed engaged while starting the big motor and it disintegrated the rotor. I am not sure what RPM the starter was turning, maybe 6-8 times what the pony was running, 5500 RPM. | |
