Spring of 2011 we installed Precision Planting hydraulic drives on Kinze 3600 planter. Ran them for 2 seasons so far and they have worked out great for us. We are controlling them with AL Integra. Cost was ~$2300 for hydraulic motor kit (from Precision Planting) and ~$1200 for hydraulic seed control module (from Ag Leader). This does not include the cost of cabling (ie - implement cables or power cables) to connect to Integra. We made the hydraulic lines ourselves ( supplied by local hardware store - not sure what that cost was).
Our local Ag Leader dealer (also a Precision Planter dealer) recommended we use Precision Planting drives as oppose to Rawson (which he is also a dealer of). I can't comment on Rawson drives (pros or cons). We simply took the advice of our dealer and have been very happy so far with the Precision Planting drives.
So how many hydraulic motors or drives do you get for 2300?? |
