Pittstown, NJ | That's the funny thing about them . . . you can often buy an L2 for less than an F2 'here' . . . guys who want a combine that big want something newer . . . but there are lots of guys looking for a good 4-row machine. I know a farmer who has a Deere 9560 combine for 98% of his acres, but he has a 4420 in the shed to get the rest on some small farms where the big machine can't go because of bridge height or weight restrictions. Same reason there's a 4-row narrow 7000 planter and 10-foot 750 drill in with the big stuff, too. | |
