| We used to have all HP, but the last two have been junk. Just bought a new Canon about 2 months ago and so far we love it. The model we have is a MX892, it is a printer, copier and fax, wireless and air print. I know you said you wanted a scanner and I am sure that you can find a comparable model that has a scanner. IIRC Cannon swaps the scanner and the fax in several levels of machines. This one cost us $149 at Staples.
It is so quiet that you hardly hear it printing when you are sitting right beside it, a lot better than our old HP's. Easy to set up and use.
Something to think about. If you have any iPads or iPhones and want to print directly to the printer you need to look for one that is "air print" capable also, not just wireless. Don't know if the air print is an Apple thing or if it applies to other tablets, phones etc. It does work good with the iPad and iPhone. | |
