HP Office Jet Pro 8500 is what I had, which broke a gear. Did the 8600 replace that model? If I knew the 8600 did not have the cheap plastic drive gears, I would go back to HP, simply for the print speed. Until it broke the 8500 was the super fast and easy on ink.
