Stopped at TSC on my way home tonite to pick up a box of nitrile gloves for my DH.  Checked a few shelves, unsuccessfully, then found a young person in a TSC shirt and asked about "nitrile gloves".  
"Do you want a box of them?" she said. 
"Yes, please".
"Oh, they're over here..."  and we walk the width of the store to the automotive section
She pulls a box down off a shelf and hands it to me.
"These are just plain latex gloves" says I.
"Oh, well we don't carry boxes of nitrile gloves".   


Scratch one local business off my "Shop Local for Christmas" list.
