I seem to recall years ago they were promoting themselves as Town Suburbs Country, and that pretty much sums it up.  Farm is not in there anyplace.  If you view them as a town store that handles a few things a farmer might need they do OK.  If you view them as a farm supply store you will be sorely disappointed

On the other hand, I was in a HUGE Rural King last week (if  you're passing Vandalia, IL it is worth stopping by just to see how big it is) and bought the last 4" Soil Saver points they had.  The lady in charge of that department said she did not think they would be restocked.  I bought some plow cutters for $3. If I use 2 of them the rest don't owe me anything.
