Keep in mind that none of the newer tablets out there are going to work exactly like a desktop or laptop since they all run mobile OS's that are fine tuned for touch interfaces and low power requirements. I believe going into the future we will be seeing the desktop environment leaning more toward the mobile world rather than tablets getting functionality that we are used to seeing on desktops we have now. The tablet revolution has put computing into a bit of an upheaval - and it will take some time to get functionality sorted out between desktops and mobiles. There were tablets on the market for a decade or more before the iPad came along that ran full desktop OS's - and they were market failures for the most part except for very select segments of the market. | |
