Southern Illinois | I have been working on trouble with section control and guidance on the planters. planter always worked but guidance would get 30" off and show cross track error less than an inch. reflashed the 600's and it didn't help. Replaced the 600 and it worked. Have some 700's coming but will be to late to try before they get here. I really don't know why the display affects guidance but that is the only thing that fixes it.
I also had some weaving tractors early in the spring and manually input deadzone, and doubled the p gain to get them to work and haven't heard from them since. on a magnum with potentiometer steering sensor ended up with deadzone of 40, p gain of 30 and increased the line acquisition but I don't remember what to.
I am hoping the 700 faster processing speeds cure some of the problems.
