I attempted soft reboot holding top two left buttons down while powering up.  It does not perform any differently when doing this then when not doing this.  . 

I attempted hard reboot holding all three left buttons down while powering up.  Same as above. 

What is hitch to ground measurement?

 I do not use free form.  

At this point I do not see any way to downgrade the firmware, it will not give me any access to anything.  

Am I right to assume this is a software problem, given that it was functioning perfectly on the version previously installed?

Is there some way to perform diagnostics or software downgrade from serial port? 

Unit is AgLeader with 2007 copyright Trimble date on front (white) screen, if that matters.
