I agree with your sentiment about Lenovo products though I always buy laptops direct from the manufacturer; because you get what you want with all the software you want and preconfigured/compatible. I pay the extra for the 3 year warranty and in my experience it's worth every penny when at 2-1/2 years you send it in and they fix or replace everything; I just prefer it that way.
