Are your tires the cheaper continental farmers? I've had a set of those's that came on a tractor i bought on neighbors farm sale a few years ago. They're bias ply 18.4-38's, I put a set of chains on them & they fell rigt off. Put a set on the radials on & they where overall about 5 inches bigger diameter than the famer bias ply style.
