Subject: RE: Continental Tractor Tires, any good?

Hazelton, Kansas

moline:

I have two sets of 18.4-38 Continental duals on combines. They were on the machines when I bought them, and we have put about 600-800 hours on each of them. I estimate our use is 40% wheat, 35% beans, 20% milo, and 5% corn. Beans are cut on the diagonal (not row oriented), and the duals straddle the corn rows. The tires appear to be holding up well...I would estimate 90% tread left.

I think I have had two deer antlers and a couple of other flats.

FWIW.
