Capacitors all look fine. Computer was running fine prior to pavjobs.exe running.

It's part of Panda Antivirus. Computer can sit idle all day and it will not run. As soon as you start using it it starts running and sounds like hard drive is really working hard. You use to be able to stop this process from the task manager. It's a problem criticized a lot by web search.

Tried to shut computer down using start button ,restart. Then everything froze up. Did power shut down by holding power button in.

When I restarted all I get is black screen after the Dell splash screen and bios load.

Nothing I do will make it finish loading windows and I can't get to safe mode or get it to recognize USB flash drive or CD with XP on it or where I can use last know good configuration.

Seems to be in perpetual feedback loop of not loading windows.

Have I mentioned how much I hate Panda. It started out as great software never had any issues but every year it becomes more of a  bloated hog with zero tech support just like Norton did years ago.
