Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I run an old Sony on XP in the house with a dial-up connection. I've done this for some time. Due to various factors I've resisted going with a better setup. The old dial-up is slow but reliable.
Lately, the computer often (but not always) goes through the dial-up sequence upon initial startup. This is not necessarily bad as it is often what I was going to do anyway but it puzzles me.
Is this somehow related to whether I was connected or not on the last session? I've looked into the startup items and don't see any mention of activating the dial-up sequence. Again this is not really a problem but I'm curious as to the cause.
