Subject: Seed tender scale problem

NECIL
We have a Clark Easiload 4 box tender with the Intercomp scales. When you power the scale on an error message pops up, LCb 2. The book says it’s a load cell, connection or something with the wiring to the load cell. The book also says that its load cell number 2. Which one is two? I’m guessing it’s one of the beam scales since there’s 2 cells(?) inside each. If anyone has had to replace one I’m guessing you have to lift the tender off the axles to get the beam out to get at the cells? Any way of finding out if it’s a load cell or if it’s something else? I took connectors off that I could and just saw dielectric grease inside the connectors. I haven’t found any wiring or cable that’s compromised?

Tomorrow morning will be phone calls to Clark and to Intercomp to see what they can tell us.
