There may be some instances where this is true.

My experience with a Lemkin Rubin 12 is this. Neighbor bought a 22' couple years ago. He only has a Cat 765B (320 hp). At 5" depth, he could pull it about 5 mph. Last spring, he rented one of my 95Es to pull it. I could go 10 mph, but it was taking all my 430 HP to do it.

100% increase in speed, 35% more power.

Just my experience.


Caterpillar torque curves bend the rules of physics though, so not exactly an accurate example. ;)
