| doesnt it depend on how long the dp period is and if you know youll eventually have to sell those bushels? i work off farm, on a gravel road that can get sloppy in the spring, so if the coop stores my bushels for free, im just a phone call away from selling which is an advantage in my situation. taking off from work to haul to hit the market high (hopefully) is enough of a magic trick. in this market you get the dime rally and it all disappears the next day and perhaps starts an unknown period of worse prices.
the chinese and endusers seem well aware of the bushels that the american farmer is holding. just my particular situation. | |
