Sheridan Mi | I don't know what's going on, like I said, they were down from last year. I waited until almost the end of the sale last year to get one for $3500. I suppose it's possible that enough guys expected them to be even higher, that they figured on keeping their old ones and didn't go to the sale or watch it online. It was odd, they sell the top bull first, then work from the best to the... I don't want to say worst, because there were over 100 bulls on test and only 67 made the cut..... but the first one out brought $11,000, then the one at $18,500 was in the middle of the sale. The one just before him brought $3000, and he wasn't the first. After that, they held up well for a little while before the bottom fell out again. I've kind of seen it happen before. I've bought a lot of good bulls cheap in the middle of the sale. Seems like buyers get bored or fatigued and the price will drop for a while before they wake up and start bidding again. | |
