Sheridan Mi | I didn't drive up there and go to the sale in person yesterday. I sat and watched it online like I did last year. I was pretty surprised that they sold as cheap as they did. They seemed to be down from last year. There were 67 bulls. Average was just over $4400. One brought $18,500, one at $11,000. I think the next high was $8500, then there were several at 7000. What stunned me was how many brought $2750 and $3000. I don't know how many for certain, I didn't really count, but I'd say at least 12-15.
They said one went to West Plains Mo, another to Texas. I don't know for sure where the one for $18,500 went, but at one point, the auctioneer said the bid was online by somebody west of the Mississippi. I hope I don't end up regretting not buying a good $3000 Bull, but I really don't need to replace one just yet. | |
