Subject: Anyone gone back to a disc after owning a vt

north central Ohio
Currently have a landoll 7431 and while I like it for seed bed prep in sprayed clean fields coming out of beans or corn it does not level well enough behind a chisel with leveler or take weeds out when spraying does not get done ahead. Dad has a 330 case and it seems very similar to the landoll. Thinking of getting a disc on 7” spacing. I think the newer discs do a better job of running level and hoping you can run shallow when need be but also stick it in the ground to take weeds out when you want even if you have to work it twice. Plus tired of breaking the gang shanks/springs on the landoll so slowing down and running a wider tool wouldn’t bother me at all. Anyone gone back and regretted it?
