Subject: Interesting dilemma with some fat hogs

an old friend of mine has been feeding and raising fat hogs his whole life at any given time he is feeding out 8000 head, back a couple months ago he had some "junk" pigs that he decided to give me free of charge to have and feed out at my place. Here we are in august and they are ready for market. Question is as follows. I did all the hauling, picking up, will haul to sale barn, used my equipment and facilities to get water, shelter, etc, my tractor and grinder for feed and I have paid for all feed. Am I obligated to split the profit with this old friend of mine since he gave me the pigs for free?

Thanks
