NW Indiana | And this place is crickets. Must be a lot of planters rolling. Corn numbers higher than expectations but still don't leave much wiggle room. Soybean numbers much more bullish than expected. New crop demand numbers seem lofty but with the argy drought it might be doable. Price action probably would be considered disappointing on soybeans considering. With very good weather The last two weeks and a good forecast I would expect crop ratings to start off strong so that is hanging over. Planting being well behind in some areas is supportive but 4/5 top producing corn states have had good progress. All in all I see little exciting the next few weeks. | |
