We just finished our full season irrigated soybeans.. These are whole farm averages.
| | Full Season Irr Soybeans | | | | | | | | | | 2005 | | 65.7 | R-up | | | | 2006 | | 69.3 | | | | | 2007 | | 59.0 | | | | | 2008 | | | | | | | 2009 | | | | | | | 2010 | | 61.1 | | | | | 2011 | | 55.8 | | | | | 2012 | | 61.0 | | | | | 2013 | | 54.0 | | | | | 2014 | | 61.0 | | | | | 2015 | | 58.0 | | Last Year | Average | | 2016 | | 69.7 | R-up | | | | 2017 | | 56.4 | Extend | -13.3 | -4.6 | | | | | | | | | | | 61.0 | Average | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Needless to say.. pretty disappointed in the results... especially considering the $$$ spent on the program. The whole farm were extends.. the herbicide costs were almost double the results both yield and control were disappointing.
Yal we were late getting them in.. and on tougher ground.. but still... Not sure I'm using extends next year..
We had higher yields.. 65 bu.. 30 years ago with williams 82's.. paid $16 per unit for the seed.. where's the progress???
