Farmington, Mo | ...ok, hang with me, I may out myself as the dumbest farmer on the planet, but the quoted price that you see on the board, how is that determined?
In the days of open outcry trading, was it just the rolling avg of the transactions over a certain amount of time? Has it changed now since it's electronic?
Just curious how that works because with all the differing opinions on this board of where the price is headed, just thought it would be good for us to understand how the quoted CBOT price even gets determined in the first place. TIA | |
