Subject: Chromium copper arsenate wood posts

Nw Iowa
CCA treated wood posts. Has anyone used them in the past? How are they? Heavy? Straight? Do they last? Sounds like the come with a 25 year warranty but that is just marketing garbage. I guarantee no one will be around to warranty post in 15 years....lol. They are half cost of creosote. The creosote posts I've used in the last 15 years have been junk in my opinion. I'm going to be updating feedlot fence this summer useing continuos panels. My other plan was using 2 7/8 well pipe concreted in the top 2-3 feet. I've heard of guys driving the pipe with out concrete but my concern is will the pipe start leaning over time? Will the spring thaw make the pushed in pipe lean and be crooked? Thanks for any and all advice.
