Subject: Blading snow 4020

West Central Nebraska - Sandhills
Have a 1966 4020. Expecting some snow, so hooked up the blade (pic 1). The blade is a little small for the size of tractor but its what we got. What are the different settings on that lever under the seat that controls the 3 pt(pic 2), and which is the best one to keep the blade down instead of riding up over the snow? Also is there a way to tell if the engine heater is working(pic 3)? I keep it plugged in, but yet it still usually requires ether. Runs very well once starting. Thank you!!
