western iowa,by Denison | Some of the reports reading from not sleeping last nite-funds have stepped in quietly buying cattle futures since the lows of Oct 2016-to the tune of around 120,000 contracts-hard to say when they leave-some of those funds would show over 20% gain on there purchase,a lot of buying of calves last 2 weeks that $100 fat cattle price will not support break evens 6-12 months down the road-Steins one group sold 28 head at 800# local trade at $80cents-though I did not write price down-we did manage to buy some off calves-1 & 2 at a time that I really do not want to show a picture of-good thing they are in a building -they are more hide behind the back pen cattle-as always the auctioneer chant -"If you can keep them alive -you'll make a lot of money"
