West of Broken Bow | You aren't the only one having all the fun with code enforcement people these days. I tell ya, I won't miss owning any land inside city limits. They are seriously expecting me to have a bunch of concrete poured just for parking pickups and tractors. If I was keeping the places that would be one thing. They won't accept crushed concrete and definitely not gravel or recycled asphalt.
Instead of the letterhead just having the city on it they have it worded as though it's straight from the PD. It was a female code enforcement officer too. They can be, from past experience, some of the most aggressive ticket/citation issuers. Friend of mine was told by different lady that he couldn't be parking a fifth wheel on his own asphalt drive behind his home. Oh, and the bluebonnet patches by his machine shop were definitely a big no-no. Probably same one who put up bunch of warning signs in wheat and hay fields. | |
