| Have a crop share landlord, and always sell like amount of bushels with him. Now local e plant doesn't want to split an hta contract. They want both parties to sell in 5,000 bushel increments. We always sell in a 5,000 bushel lot, and set basis in the same lot and at the same time, just split between parties. I don't understand what difference it would make it still correlates to a futures contract. They are also charging $.02 cents/ per trading contract(July costs $.06 right now) which seems high. Do other places split these contracts? I like to make several smaller sales and shoot for a good average price. | |
