We have 1 hybrid that was damaged much more than others by wind and are thinking about harvesting it as earlage and selling it to a local dairyman who is interested.
Is there a standard method of pricing earlage in relation to grain price?
Also, is there an optimal grain moisture for earlage? Hand shelled grain tested 20.5% yesterday.
