Subject: Meat canning question


East central South Dakota
Should I use a pressure cooker to can meat or is a water bath good enough? I've heard water bath is good enough but I've also heard nothing but pressure cooker.

Is there a difference in a pressure cooker and a pressure canner?

I've read that the new power pressure cookers are not safe for canning meat, is there any reason why?
