SC Wisconsin | Just curious on how everybody else selects their bulls. I know some people select for different components, others are mated by a mating service, others start by drawing a line at a certain net merit or milk production and don't go below that. Just curious on how everyone else does it. I'm hopefully putting in robots in the next 5 years, so I usually start on the "robot ready" page from semex and pick a few from there with a couple from their proven list and a few from the genomic list. | |
