Pierce county WI | Twice today, I've went to down shift pulling a hill. When dropping from 13th to 12th, it doesn't want to catch in 12th. I can drop to 11th, then up shift to 12, no problem. No other gears seem to bother. I shut it off and listened to the slave pistons for both engage and disengage. Sounds like it's shifting fine. Trans probably has less than 350k on overhaul, I'm assuming they went through back box. I 've got a spare 13 speed, and also one in my cabover. Can I swap the back box out this weekend from one of them and send this one in for a synchro? Thanks | |
