Subject: Irrigation and municipal water

Central Ohio
I have zero experience with irrigation outside of my lawn and garden.

We have a 60 acrea farm that is tiled and is good black dirt right on the edge of town. Could probably get 30 or 40 acres of it under a pivot depending on setup. A brand new water main was just installed down the road that borders the farm.

Can a person irrigate with municipal water and a center pivot? Does it require a pump? What sort of minimum line size and flow are required? What supplies power to rotate the center pivot, water pressure or electricity?

Thanks in advance for any insight you may have.
