| We hired a local "craftsman" who specializes in "premium" custom kitchens to build cabinets for us. I am appalled by the quality of work they are trying to pass off. I refuse to accept their drawer construction and installation. Finish nails spanning a 1" wide gap with nothing holding the frames rigid to the cabinet walls down the side, really? They keep claiming this is how everyone does it now, I have never, ever seen anything like this is my life. My grandfather was meticulous in his finish carpentry so I accept that I have a critical eye and high expectations but this is flat out ridiculous. Are other people really passing off this quality of work as acceptable?
