Subject: Dairy guys feeding snaplage

Thompsontown, Pennsylvania
Can you share with me the DM pounds of corn, corn silage, haylage and snaplage you are feeding? I am very intrigued by the idea of doing snaplage. I have read on here the best way to use it, is to treat it like really really high quality corn silage and still feed some fine ground corn. I have also read that on a farm with limited acres, snaplage may work better as you are harvesting some roughage with it. The only obstacle for me is the nutritionist. I have yet to find a nutritionist that truly likes snaplage. So rather than try to convince them and have them help me figure this out, I will just ask you guys. Thinking of using very high quality corn silage, maybe bmr, high quality haylage, and snaplage, with a higher haylage ration
