You can not find a nutritionist that likes it for a lactating ration for a reason. It's too bulky to allow the cow to eat enough to make high milk. Many of us have tried it because it is easy to harvest and simple to store. We just can't afford to keep putting it in milk cow rations.


Know nothing about dairy rations. Do you guys use corn silage and shelled corn to get the Mcal high enough to max out milk production?
