Linwood, NC | Let me give everyone a run down of my operation before I start getting bashed. Currently farming 500 acres spread out . Right now it is is just myself doing all the work with some part time help during busy times. Custom spray 5000 acres a year on top of this, so being timely is important to me. I have joined the cover cropping revolution this past fall with half of my ground and implementing it 100% this fall. Currently own at Great Plains 1800TM that is listed for sale on Tractor House, Craigslist, and Classifieds. My goal is to not disturb the soil, but due to the lack of interest in this machine I'm thinking about mounting an air seeder to do do my cover crops. What is everyone's opinion on this? I'm looking for answers on how will this negatively impact my soil structure even if I run this machine on 0 degrees. Thanks | |
