East, Central Ontario | I have a guy who im considering working with on a cow lease, assuming I supply all the feed, medicine, pasture and creep feed through winter and till weaning. He just supplys the cows and replacements. What percentage should we each be getting when the calves are sold. We will sell them through auction barn and if I decide to buy them for my feedlot that's up to me. I have pastures that I would rather put cows on and keep stockers in the yards on feed. Will be fall calvers that will be on stalks supplemented with tmr and will be creep feeding calves. Thanks
