East central Iowa, Camanche, Iowa | What the market gave back overnight and this am still gives us a net positive which is telling me that what we saw yesterday was more of a correction based on current conditions of the new crop. Around here the old crop basis was widened but they left the new crop alone (local ADM plant Clinton, Ia).
Pure speculation on my part but it looks like they are happy with the current supply (old crop) but are trying to maybe lock in some new crop or reward you for holding over some old crop till fall.
Just my guess........ and just trying to understand what the market is trying to tell me. |
