Centralia, MO | Daughter has 11 hens she raised from about day 2. Started laying late this summer and were doing real well, getting 7 to 8 eggs/day. When it turned colder, production dropped dramatically, now she's getting 1 or 2 eggs per day. Is she doing something wrong or is this just a result of the cooler weather. She's in central Missouri so it's not dreadfully cold just cooler. I'm not much on my chicken knowledge so I can't be much help to her. Any clues? TIA | |
