Subject: Straw Chopper drum question on JD 6620

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

This is an earlier design 6620 straw chopper ( non "90 degree gussets" for knives )

I was welded on a new gusset bracket tonight and noticed some play, BUT it isn't the bearing or flanges.

How is the "Drum" attached to the inner shaft? = I have a little play in mine at the drive pulley end. Other end is nice and solid.
