| Was helping wifes grandpa work his calves the other day. After sending my last 2 to the locker and seeing pretty dismal weights on them, I asked the vet what implant he was using and how often it needed done. He was using 90 day Ralgro and said it should be done every 90 days. Well no friggin wonder they never gained anything. I was getting the calves in Dec and feeding them corn/protein through the end of Sept and never giving them another implant. How often do you guys doing it for real money give them an implant and what are you using?
