It seems that there is a few people here that work in the patch. How does your work schedule help or hinder you farm operation? How about some good and bad of the patch while farming and maintaining family life. Is there semi-part time or seasonal work in the patch? I have a few friends that have oil field jobs and they make it sound good. None of them farm.
