whitehall maryland | I've always either hired my no till drill work out, or rented and done myself. Last year figured right at 5000 between both. I plant about 80 to 100acres barley same in cover crop always 20 acres of hay other odds and ends . This year would like to try sorghum, pastures need work waterways, etc. Shopped around penciled I can own a fairly new drill for 6500 7000 interest rates all below four,always a waiting list for drills in fall custom guys busy with harvest to mess with cover crop. I figured that I could pick up some rental maybe a few custom jobs .. On paper pencils out, what am I missing. I figured depreciation, . Interest etc..Thanks | |
